Executive Chairman 24fit (SA) Pty Ltd, a chain of fitness centres. Peter has been involved from inception to overseeing the ongoing expansion. Director of several private companies involved in the development and ongoing management of retirement villages. Over 25 years’ experience in commercial, retail and residential property development. Director of Bilo Supermarkets and Foodland SA. As well as serving on several private and public (unlisted) company boards, Peter has also served on the boards of the Pembroke School Foundation, the Stirling Business Association and has been on the Committee of the Oakbank Racing Club.

Barrister and Solicitor admitted to practice in the State of South Australia.

Experience

Past Principal with Norman Waterhouse Lawyers, providing commercial advice with emphasis on property development and construction law. Peter is now semi-retired from legal practice after nearly 40 years in the legal profession and is currently a company director for a number of private investment companies.

Legal Practitioner in Far North Queensland and Adelaide. Philip’s experience includes providing legal advice to not for profit organisations and family and succession law. Chair Roma Mitchell Community Legal Centre Inc. and a Committee member of Central Adelaide Branch Heart Support Australia Limited.

Experience

Currently Project Manager at Uniting Communities, facilitating projects in advocacy, community engagement and congregational collaboration.

Previously Executive Officer, UnitingCare in South and Western Australia, responsible for overseeing the Uniting Church’s community, social, health and educational services. Prior to this Mission Minister at UnitingCare Kwinana.

Current and past member of numerous governing bodies including national and state, statutory, church, not for profit, community service, educational boards and Councils.

In addition, retired Director of the former Savings & Loans Credit Union (now known as People’s Choice Credit Union Pty Ltd.) and also Health Partners Ltd. Served terms as Chairman of the payroll Tax Appeal Tribunal and the Auto Financing Authority.

Registered Company Auditor and member of Royal Association of Justices. Justice of the Peace.
